In a place, which has been characterized as Name of Origin for what is probably the most important Greek red variety, Agiorgitiko, Palivou Estate owns one of the two largest vineyards in the zone of Nemea. More than 300 stremmas (area equal to 1000km) planted mostly with Agiorgitiko, but also with Rodites, Malagousia, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, can lavishly offer wines of quality names.
The vineyards spread over different regions of Ancient Nemea; the most advantageous is located at 420 meters above sea level. The plain north winds, especially during summer months, contribute to better health and the proper ripening. All vineyards are organic.
Palivou Estate invites its visitors to a different trip through the vineyard and the vine culture, where everything begins, and continues into the aging cellar of the Estate, where the 300 French and American oak barrels are located.
